What’s making LEMONADE all about?

Life is full of ups, downs, lemons and other crap that gets thrown at us on a regular basis. After navigating several major life challenges in a short few years in her 30s, and 20+ years of work in the communications space, this book emerged as a way of sharing the things Jade has learned along the way. Focused on the continual journey we are all on to improve ourselves and face life hurdles, this book is a vulnerable and humorous guide that you can return to whenever the challenges arise.

“Purpose is what you create. Making Lemonade is just about finding your own meaning in the light and dark of life. Purpose isn’t hidden under the couch; it isn’t one key task that you must fulfill (although some people do have a very clear life mission), it’s not a tangible item to discover. Purpose is finding out who you are, how to connect, what you believe in, then taking these things and moving forward to contribute to the world through things that you enjoy. Not to say that a purposeful existence won’t have challenges and boring bits. It totally will. But the closer you are to living yours, the more confident you’ll be when the lemons start flying. You can find resilience and fulfillment in the hardest of times. Good luck making your lemonade. Let me know how it goes. x Jade”
